David Moxam, Chairman & CEO
David Moxam, Chairman, is a recognized leader in the global fight against industrial counterfeiting, piracy and excise tax fraud. He leads a team of PhDs, engineers and industry experts who work with Fortune 500 companies and national governments around the world. Authentix’ advanced nanotechnology solutions are currently used by 6 of the leading 10 pharmaceutical firms, 4 of the top 6 oil and gas companies, 4 of the G7 Central Banks and 8 international governments. Together they have recovered over $11 billion in lost revenues since 2003.
Authentix received prestigious U.K honors in 2008 winning The Queen’s Award for Enterprise and was also selected as the top M&A Deal Award for Texas. Mr. Moxam was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Technology in 2006.
Prior to joining Authentix, Moxam performed a technology turnaround at Goldman Sachs’ Starpoint following a 10 yr career building EDS’ New York based Global Financial Markets Group. Mr. Moxam serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Compassites Software Solutions in India. Mr. Moxam holds graduate diplomas in Physics and Business Administration from Laurentian University in Canada.

Lee Barberito
Lee Barberito, was elected to the Authentix Board of Directors in 2002. He is the Founder and President of Manti Resources, Inc., a privately held energy company that invests in energy and high tech sectors. He is also Co-Founder and President of Cimex Biotech. Prior to Manti, he worked for Exxon Co. USA and Netherland Sewell & Associates where he managed offshore Gulf of Mexico acquisitions and divestitures, as well as new discovery field development planning. Barberito is a member of the All-American Wildcatters, a select group of 100 leaders from the Oil and Gas Industry. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Stephen W. Bailey
Stephen W. Bailey was elected to the Authentix Board of Directors in 2008. Mr. Bailey serves as Managing Director of The Carlyle Group where he primarily focuses on growth and middle market buyout investment opportunities in software, systems and advanced technology sectors. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bailey served as VP and head of Corporate Development and Dell Ventures at Dell. Mr. Bailey also served as Vice President of Finance in the Americas Business Group at Dell. Mr. Bailey previously was a Principal with ABS Capital Partners, a private equity firm, and has held positions in 3Com's Business Development Group and in the investment banking division of Alex. Brown. Mr. Bailey is a member of the Board of Directors of RMI, Supercircuits and TrenStar. Mr. Bailey is a graduate of Harvard College and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Paul R. Vigano
Paul Vigano was elected to the Authentix Board of Directors in 2008. Mr. Vigano has been a member of J.H. Whitney for over 10 years and has served on numerous boards of directors while at J.H. Whitney including Brooks Sports, Specialized Technology Resources and EMC Holdings. Mr. Vigano has also served as CEO of Pure Fishing, a portfolio company of J.H. Whitney. Prior to joining J.H. Whitney, he was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Mr. Vigano holds a B.B.A from of the University of Michigan, Phi Beta Kappa, and received an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Sir Olaf Leonard Halvorssen
Sir Olaf Leonard Halvorssen is a founder of Authentix and sits on the board as Director Emeritus. Mr. Halvorssen helped acquire and develop commercial applications for a key technology in the Authentix intellectual property portfolio. Originally developed at the U.S. National Laboratories in Los Alamos, New Mexico, this nanoscale marking technology is being used today by leading oil and gas companies and national governments around the world to prevent revenue loss due to fuel fraud.
Mr. Halvorssen’s lifelong commitment to human rights includes his current position as senior advisor to the Oslo Freedom Forum. An intimate gathering where remarkable individuals come together once a year to address the world’s most challenging humanitarian issues. He is also the former President of Venezuela without Limits, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in Latin America. Mr. Halvorssen's commitment to various philanthropies and to the cause of the betterment of society through business practices earned him the title, Knight Commander to the Royal Norwegian Court. This honor was awarded to him by His Majesty, King Harald V of Norway in Oslo, December 2006. Mr. Halvorssen also serves as a director for Sole Trading, Ltd.
Mr. Halvorssen holds a BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from the Wharton Graduate School of Finance.
