Risk Analysis

Successful anti-counterfeit and anti-diversion programs are underpinned by a thorough understanding of the commercial or excise tax issues faced by the client. In many instances this is achieved through Authentix’ structured Risk Analysis process in which we determine the principal weaknesses in our client's supply chain and processes. Where prudent, we supplement the Risk Analysis process with in-market surveillance to identify the areas of risk and estimate the extent of illicit trading, counterfeiting or brand abuses occurring within the client's supply chain or processes.

A thorough analysis of risk provides three principal benefits for clients, namely:

• An independent, objective assessment of the supply chain and process weaknesses that counterfeiters and diverters are most likely to exploit
• An actionable list of improvements that clients can implement themselves
• The foundation for a successful and sustainable security program to deter illicit trading or brand abuse
