In-Product Marking

Authentix is unique in the industry in being able to authenticate products and not just their packaging. For ingestible products, such as a food, drink, or pharmaceutical, we have a range of regulatory-approved authentication markers, which can authenticate the product itself. In such circumstances, ingestible markers are designed to be inert, odorless, colorless and tasteless to ensure that the finished product is not impaired in any way. Typically, ingestible markers are inserted at parts per billion levels, analogous to a few seconds in 32 years. At such low concentrations, they cannot be detected by conventional chemical analysis but are detected unequivocally by our proprietary readers and test kits.

In addition, Authentix provides industry leading fuel markers that can be added and detected at parts per billion levels. These markers can be added to the legal fuel or adulterant to determine if adulteration, laundering or commingling has occurred and at what concentration.
