Authentix—providing a comprehensive banknote authentication system featuring field detection of counterfeits

Authentix offers a comprehensive banknote authentication system that provides additional barriers to the insertion of counterfeits into circulation. Easily incorporated onto banknotes during the printing process, this solution enables the reliable authentication of banknotes in the commercial marketplace using low-cost detection devices.
 
In order to fulfill the needs of several Central Bank partners, Authentix drew upon its extensive experience in covert markers and opto-electronic sensors to develop the "Grasshopper" system. The solution was developed to be:
